Dan Pelosi has made my dream dessert with his Tiramisu Affogato from Let’s Eat – and it couldn’t be easier to pull together!
After making a simple whipped cream with a bit of tang from sour cream, you just layer the cream with crunched-up Margherite cookies, dust with a bit of cocoa powder and top with a shot of espresso. It’s ready in 10 minutes – we made ours earlier in the day for an after-dinner dessert.
In our excitement to try them I forgot to snap a final photo with the espresso shots. Whoops! These are so insanely simple and just as delicious on their own as with the shot!
