Ever since adopting Helen in December, he’s been BEGGING me to bake him Ina’s Whole Wheat & Peanut Butter Dog Biscuits – and I finally gave in!
No surprise here: like his dads, he’s extremely food motivated, acting like he’s never been fed the moment he catches a whiff of something tasty.
These biscuits couldn’t be easier to make – just toss all the ingredients (which include whole wheat flour, wheat germ, oatmeal, and peanut butter) into a mixer, roll out the dough, and cut them into whatever shape your (or your dog’s) heart desires.
I went with a classic bone-shaped cutter, though it ended up a bit too big for Helen. Next time, we’re going bite-sized!
Helen gave these rave reviews—aka, immediately sneaked off to his favorite snacking spot to devour them in peace.
