- Kalustyan’s – if you need to some hard-to-find spice or ingredients this place as you covered.
- Edy’s Grocer – I love Edy and this magical space he’s created in Bushwick. Whether attending dinners or events or just grabbing food, prepared dips or spices I love stopping in and watching a little bit of Oprah on the TV. I can’t wait for Edy’s book that’s out in May!
- Bonnie Slotnick Cookbooks – discovered this gem specializing in out-of-print cookbooks while looking for Dolly Parton’s cookbook.
- International Grocery – I used to come here all the time for taramasalata. I definitely went through a phase of eating a pound of that creamy, salty, hint-of-the-sea spread a week.
- Esposito Meat Market– my go-to meat market in the city
DRUNK IN LOVE – My favorite spots to grab a drink
- Bar Room at The Beekman – the atrium is out of this world beautiful and the make one delicious Vesper.
- Julius’ – This historic gay bar is one of the few you can get some food while enjoying your drink.
- Trailer Park – a bar that’ll make you feel like your on the set of “Party”
