HAPPY SIMPLY INA RELEASE DAY for all who celebrate! 🎉
I’m on a work trip for the next week and a half, so I’ll have to wait to get my hands on my copy. Though I may need to pop into a bookstore for a quick browse! Luckily, Ina shared a few sneak peeks in advance (or at least Amazon did), so I got a little head start with her Skillet Pasta with Sausage & Mozzarella!
Ina seems to be leaning into the store-bought is fine vibes, and I am HERE for it! Store-bought marinara (Rao’s, of course) gets doctored up with red wine, crushed red pepper flakes, and heavy cream, then simmered with sautéed ground beef and spicy Italian sausage.
Tossed with penne and topped with little balls of mozzarella, a generous amount of grated Parmesan, and a sprinkling of julienned basil, it’s the perfect cozy weeknight meal!
