This one is known as Best Potato Salad on Food Network and for good reason! It’s a straightforward recipe and an absolute crowd-pleaser. The addition of buttermilk makes it extra creamy and the dill is a must. With this recipe, Ina taught me to dress the potatoes while they are still warm so they absorb some of that flavor.
2. Lobster & Potato Salad

Typically not a huge fan of vinaigrette-based potato salads, but it was the perfect way to complement the chunks of lobster meat without overwhelming the delicate flavor. I love that this can be served as a side or main!

As I mentioned, I’m not a huge fan of vinegar-based potato salads, but Ina loads this one up with haricot verts, tuna, capers, cherry tomatoes, red onions, olives and eggs. It reminded me of a dish my grandma made for me once when I was growing up.

So I don’t have a photo of just the French Potato Salad as it’s the base for the Provencal Potato Salad above. I did try it before adding all the other goodies in and it didn’t thrill me. Might be one I need to revisit!
