The Best Ina Garten Desserts for Valentine’s Day

I used to say that I didn’t have much of a sweet tooth, but that’s changed a bit over the past several years … I blame the end of the Ina project when I was making multiple desserts every single week. 🙃

Even before this newfound craving, there was one meal I always wanted to end on a sweet note: Valentine’s Day dinner.

We’re only two days away from the big day and whether you’re celebrating with your significant other, friends, or family, Ina has something to satisfy everyone’s sweet tooth.

From recipes that beg to be made for the holiday like her Coeur à la Crème with Raspberry Sauce and Chocolate-Dipped Strawberries, to show-stopping treats like Soufflé à l’Orange and Île Flottante, and indulgent chocolate delights like Salted Caramel Brownies and Chocolate Mousse, trust me, you won’t be disappointed with any of these options.

Coeur a la Creme with Raspberries | Barefoot in Paris, page 189 (Recipe)

Fourth of July has Ina’s flag cake and Valentine’s Day has this dream of a dessert.

Skillet Brownies | Make It Ahead, page 188 (Recipe)

Graham cracker crust, lush chocolate pudding, airy whipped cream – sign me up!

Live your French fantasy by making these profiteroles. You can make them with pastry cream or ice cream, but I prefer the ice cream stuffed ones.

Devil’s Food Cake with Coffee Meringue Buttercream | Cooking for Jeffrey, page 225 (Recipe)

This is a project, but you’ll be rewarded with and epic show-stopper.

Ile Flottante | Barefoot in Paris, page 180 (Recipe)

This beautiful dessert is one of my favorites and perfect for a special meal.

Chocolate Mousse | Family Style, page 166 (Version of the recipe here)

I’ve never met a mousse I didn’t love and this one is a favorite.

Salted Caramel Brownies | Foolproof, page 216 (Recipe)

Salted caramel makes everything better.

Crème Brulée | Barefoot in Paris, page 222 (Recipe)

Nothing is more satisfying than cracking into a crème brulee to enjoy that creamy custard.

Chocolate Espresso Cheesecake with Gancahe | Food Network (Recipe)

A decadent cheesecake with the volume turned up.

Mixed Berry Pavlova | Barefoot Contessa at Home, page 173 (Recipe)

Pavlovas are a labor of love but such a satisfying dessert.

Chocolate Rum Pudding with Candied Violets | Food Network (Recipe)

This one is admittedly a little bougie, but your loves are worth the expense!

Panna Cotta with Fresh Raspberry Sauce | Cook Like A Pro, page 222 (Recipe)

My favorite of Ina’s panna cottas.

Dark Chocolate Tart | Go-To Dinners, page 215 (Recipe)

Skip the box of chocolate and give this to the ones you love.

Coconut Cake | Barefoot Contessa at Home page 177 (Recipe)

Not necessarily Valentine’s Day specific, but I’ll take any excuse to make this recipe.

Outrageous Oreo Crunch Brownies | Oprah (Recipe)

If it’s good enough for Oprah, it’s good enough for me!

Shortbread Hearts | Barefoot Contessa Cookbook, page 177 (Recipe)
