374. Maple Vanilla Cream of Wheat

I not sure if I had cream of wheat before, if I have it wasn’t memorable and definitely wasn’t as delicious as this recipe. I’d say this would be my new morning staple, but let’s be real, I only give myself enough time to eat a scoop of peanut butter and gulp down a glass of milk during the week. I like sleep too much.

This was easy to make and was a tasty and nourishing way to start my day. I can’t wait to make this on a cold winter morning. It’s warm, creamy delicousness.

A pad of butter, a splash of cold milk and pour of real maple syrup are the perfect finishing touches.

If you want to trim a few calories from this dish, you can swap in skim milk and non-fat half and half and it’s still perfectly creamy!
