Last week I was in a T-shirt sweating my ass off, and yesterday I was bundled up in a winter coat walking Helen. Fall is my favorite season, but every year it seems to slip by faster — between the weather swings and my work schedule, it always feels too short!
All I really want to do is slip into some flannel and sip hot cider, while soup simmers away and Ina’s French apple tart bakes in the oven! 🤷♂️
It truly is my favorite time to cook and bake – the cooler air means I can turn the oven back on without melting, the dinner parties and brunch pick back up and all the food-centered holidays just keep coming – Friendsgiving prep is already underway!
Today I’m sharing my favorite Ina recipes for these crisp fall months – from boozy Hot Spiced Apple Cider and creamy Butternut Squash & Ricotta Bruschettas to juicy Cider-Roasted Pork Tenderloins with Roasted Plum Chutney and cozy desserts like Apple Pie Bars and Pumpkin Mousse Parfaits.
